OUTSIDE OF JERUSALEM: Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv – United Nations World Heritage Site
Founded on sand in 1909 by stalwart pioneers, Tel Aviv has become a typical bustling metropolis with a multitude of shops, eateries, sprawling suburbs, all-night entertainment spots and congested streets. Yet a portion of Tel Aviv dubbed the White City by the United Nations, has been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. That’s because Tel Aviv boasts more house designed in Bauhaus (International) style than any other city in the universe!
